Marvel Rivals feels like it is at the top of its game right now – despite it not even being available publicly for a year. I was already in love with it from Season 0, but after the Season 1 battle pass, new characters, and finally the Spring Festival update, I’m willing to bet that this will go on to be a popular game for years to come.

This will be a relatively short post, because I think a lot of my gushing can be represented by just one thing: SOCCER! Yes, there is now a playable soccer mode in-game (I believe for a limited only). In addition to this, there is a small collection of items to unlock, including a free skin, and two paid skins.

It just feels like a lot of time and love went into something that other developers would treat as a throwaway, if it was included at all. But the fact that there is a new, free mode, on top of free cosmetics, and that this is coming just weeks after they already added a new free mode and cosmetics… well, you can’t ask for much more from a free game.
