Hey everyone! Bit of a different kind of post for this week, but I just wanted to talk about how Free Comic Book Day is coming up! I’m fortunate to have a good number of comic shops near me and have either been a regular customer or helped with some media creation for a handful of them. A lot of storeowners really look forward to this day as a big push to get people to come and enjoy free products and a special atmosphere.

If you have the means this year, I’d highly encourage you to go out and support a local store! Get some free stuff, enjoy some festivities, and buy a few books! Times are tough right now for a lot of people, but Free Comic Book Day has always been a nice opportunity for community and a great day to support local businesses.

Plus, I think the lineup of free titles and the events that some stores have planned are awesome this year! Comics are in a great place right now and I think the free books will be a great way to introduce folks to some great stories.
