Dracula – A Short Film Announcement (And Updates from the Blog)

I’m excited to share a few announcements!

November 30, 2025

Hello! I’m really excited to share a few announcements. Firstly, though, I want to apologize. It’s been a few weeks of inactivity over here. I really appreciate everyone who stays updated week to week through email subscriptions and those who’ve checked out past posts this month, it sincerely means a lot!

Recently, things have been really busy in my life, and I realized that I was starting to put out posts that weren’t up to the quality I’d like to share here. Though this is just a personal project to write about subjects I’m interested in, I really take pride in what I write and I want to create posts that others will find interesting. With that in mind, I have decided to shift from a weekly posting schedule to a monthly one. Especially as I look ahead to a few more busy weeks, this will give me some flexibility to really take time writing posts, reviews, and other projects that I’ve been working on. In the future I hope to return to week to week, but in the meantime, you can subscribe to the email list to stay up to date and get a notification every time I publish something here! Once again, thank you to everyone who takes time to check out my posts.

With that business out of the way, I’m thrilled to share a more exciting announcement: a short film that I wrote and directed, Dracula, is releasing very soon! Earlier this year, I had the privilege of working together with an amazing team of filmmakers to create a little idea that I’d been kicking around in the back of my head for a while. Working on it was a real highlight of my year and it turned into a short film that means a lot to me. I’m so grateful to the cast and crew that turned it into reality and I’m so excited to start sharing it! Last week, Dracula – A Short Film premiered in-person, and we’re gearing up to release it online on December 12th, 2025! If you’d like to learn more, please follow our Instagram page or add it to your Letterboxd watchlist! While I plan on posting here and updating this page when it’s available, you can stay tuned for the latest updates on Instagram.

This Thanksgiving week, I had the opportunity to really reflect on my life and everything that I’m truly fortunate to have. I’m sincerely grateful to the cast and crew of Dracula for their help in turning my little passion project into something special, my friends and family who support what I do, and for readers like you who take time to check out what I make. I’m really fortunate for everything I have and I’m so thankful for it.

I’m really excited to continue creating projects and sharing them here! Though I won’t be posting as frequently, you can hear from me more regularly by checking out the podcast I co-host or follow me on Letterboxd for more movie reviews. Once again, thank you! I’ll talk to you more soon!
